David McCarthy is a Pharmacist with 25 years experience. After receiving his degree in Liverpool, he practiced pharmacy throughout the UK, running many pharmacies.

After losing his 10 year old son Jonathan to cancer, David has dedicated his life to telling people about the hidden agendas of modern medicine and advocating a more natural macrobiotic approach to life.

David’s ethos is to give people access to superior quality, organic, ethically sourced products at competitive prices, together with the resource to understand and use the ingredients properly. He graduated from the Kushi Institute of Europe and lives with his wife Nicola and daughter Kerry in West Sussex where he is a practicing Macrobiotic Counsellor and Teacher.

Nicola McCarthy is a busy Mother of Jack, Beth and Kerry. She recently graduated from the Kushi Institute of Europe, where she studied all 4 levels.

Changing to a Macrobiotic way of life had a profound effect on Nicola’s health and she is now an active Macrobiotic Teacher, giving group and personal cooking classes with practical advice. She is a Reflexologist, Massage Therapist and Reiki Healer and is keen to develop macrobiotic activities in the UK.
